Abstract

A fan control system of an electronic device which is able to operate in a more complicated operation environment, so as to resolve the heat dissipation and fan operation noise problems resulted from increasing complexity of electronic system. The fan control system comprises a temperature sensor, a temperature control module, a first logic, a second logic, and a fan control circuit. The temperature sensor is used to sense the operating temperature of an IC. The temperature control module receives the sensed temperature and outputs a corresponding first logic signal. The first logic outputs a corresponding second logic signal according to the first logic signal and the first control signal. The second logic is set with one or more fan rotation speed versus temperature operation relations and outputs a second control signal according to the second logic signal corresponded fan rotation speed versus temperature curve. The control circuit drives the fan according to the corresponding voltage of the second control signal.
