Abstract
Disclosed is a switching apparatus, of which the weight increase is suppressed and the heat radiating effect is good, is provided with a main circuit conductor which is easy to assemble. The switching apparatus is constructed by connecting an upper main circuit conductor (11) to the side of fixed contact (1a) of vacuum switch tube (1) through upper terminal, and connecting a lower main circuit conductor (15) to the side of movable contact, and the whole assembly is carried on a truck frame (3). Both main circuit conductors (11, 15) are constituted with a conductor (17) in closed-ended cylinder having a bolt hole (17) axially passing through the bottom thereof, and a contactor provided on the open end of conductor (17), and upper terminal and lower terminal (14) are connected by a bolt (19) inserted into conductor (17) from open end side.
