Abstract

A black material of the present invention comprises a particle including Ag-Sn alloy as a principal component. The Ag-Sn alloy contains Ag from 47.6 to 90 percent by weight. The mean particle diameter of the particle is from 1 to 300 nm. Moreover, a black particle dispersion liquid of the present invention contains the black material (particle) and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) which is a polymeric dispersant. In addition, a surface of the black particle is covered by the insulation film made of metal oxides such as the silicon oxides (silica) or aluminum oxides (alumina) or organic polymer compounds such as polyamine compounds.
