Abstract

The present invention provides a method for producing an electro-optical circuit board, which comprises laminating a polymeric multi-layered film comprising a cladding layer having a lower refractive index and a core layer having a higher refractive index onto at least one surface of a substrate, and etching or hot-embossing or photo-defining the core layer having a higher refractive index, to allow the core layer to form an optical waveguide circuit.
