Abstract
The present invention targets at suppressing asyncrhonization between an effect processing such as position adjustment of a virtual sound source in a sound field and sound productions. In a sound source circuit (100), a FIFO memory (20) holds information representing a variation of a virtual sound source in a reproduction sound field and audio data. A control unit (30) produces a sound from the audio data stored in the FIFO memory (20) and subjected to position adjustment in cooperation with a 3D positioning section (210) for adjusting the position of the virtual sound source in the reproduction sound field. On detecting the information the control unit (30) reports the information to the 3D positioning section (210). In this case, the control unit (30) may send an interrupt signal corresponding to the information through a dedicated signal line to the 3D positioning section (210).
