Abstract

A nanocomposite composition having a barrier property is provided. The compositon is prepared by dry-blending a styrene-based resin, a resin having a barrier property/intercalated clay nanocomposite, and a compatibilizer. The composition has superior mechanical strength and moldability, and superior oxygen, organic solvent, and moisture barrier properties, and thus can be used to manufacture various articles having a barrier property.
