Abstract

The objective of the present invention is to provide a metal-containing coordination compound having characteristics equal to or above the metal complex and able to perform polymerization or to be dissolved in the solvent. The present invention provides a high molecular compound containing coordination compound residue and having characteristics equal to or above the metal complex. The present invention also provides an organic electroluminescence material having characteristics equal to or above the metal complex, Alq3, for example. The organic electroluminescence material can easily perform thin film operation by processing an organic high molecular compound or by the solvent-casting method to form the film. The present invention, moreover, provides a light emitting device and a white light emitting device which can conduct manufacturing by using the above-mentioned organic electroluminescence material without a evaporation operation. A metal-containing coordination compound of the present invention is charactered as shown in the below formula (1). The present invention relates to the high molecular compound containing coordination compound residue by polymerizing the above-mentioned metal-containing coordination compound, the organic electroluminescence material comprising the above-mentioned compounds, and the light emitting device and the white light emitting device comprising the above-mentioned compounds and the organic electroluminescence material.
