In a rotating-disc-type koji-making apparatus having a rotating disc (4) rotatable about a fixed supporting shaft (3) provided vertically inside a koji-making chamber, a fixed-side bearing (10) made up of radially separable ring sections (11, 12) having a thrust bearing surface (16a) and a radial bearing surface (16b) is removably attached to the fixed shaft, a rotating-side bearing (30) made up of radially separable bearing ring section (31, 32) having a thrust bearing surface (33a) and a radial bearing surface (33b) is removably attached to the rotating disc (4), and the thrust, bearing surface and the radial bearing surface of the fixed-side bearing and the thrust bearing surface and the radial bearing surface of the rotating-side bearing are in sliding contact.
