Abstract

Provided is an elliptic gymnastic machine, which comprises a main body, two sliding devices, two treadle devices and two extension devices. The main body has two rotation members rotatable around a center axis. The sliding devices each comprise a sliding rod pivotally connected with the rotation member and slidable forward and backward. The treadle devices are respectively provided with a treadle which is movably mounted on the sliding rod. The extension devices each have a gyration arm pivotally connected with the sliding rod, a linkage arm pivotally connected with the treadle and the gyration arm, and a linkage unit capable of driving the gyration arm to rotate in the opposite direction. By this way, when the rotation member rotates around the center line for a circle, the gyration arm rotates for a circle in the opposite direction and drives the treadle to slide forward and backward, which makes the treadles establish a flat, long and generally elliptic motion orbit.
