Abstract

A control structure for parallel-connected inverters is disclosed. This control means comprises a first control loop, a second control loop, an adder and a pulse width modulation (PWM) control circuit. The first control loop is used to generate a first control signal to shape the waveform of output voltage. The second control loop is used to generate a second control signal to have the performance of a series virtual resistor inserted in the output of the inverter. The first control signal and the second control signal are added. And then the output of this adder is sent to the PWM control circuit. The output signals of PWM circuit are used to drive the power electronic devices of the inverter. This control structure balances the current distribution of parallel-connected inverters by using the series virtual resistor inserted in the output of the each inverter.
