Abstract
The lamp control apparatus includes a first inverter, a second inverter, a phase detector, and a phase control unit. The first inverter, coupled to the first end of the lamp, is used for outputting a first AC voltage, whereas the second inverter, coupled to the second end of the lamp, is used for outputting a second AC voltage. The phase detector is used to detect the phase of at least one of the first and the second AC voltages and accordingly output a phase detecting value. The phase control unit adjusts the lamp luminance by changing the phase of the first AC voltage or the second AC voltage according to the phase detecting value and a luminance signal.
