Abstract

This invention relates to an improved structure of a stapling gun. The stapling gun comprises a housing; a driving assembly; a transmission assembly; a control assembly and an impacting assembly. The driving assembly includes a power source and at least two power switches. The power source may be a regular electrical main power source or a rechargeable battery. The transmission assembly includes a motor, a transmission gear set and an operation gear that is driven by the on/off state of the driving assembly. The driven gear is merely formed with partial gear crowns. The control assembly includes at least two push buttons, a pressing member and a lock-thrusting piece. The two push buttons operates the driving assembly and transmission assembly upon being pressed, at which time, the pressing member is urged outwards by the lock-thrusting piece. The impacting assembly includes at least one impacting cylinder, a striking plate and a resilient member. The resilient member is provided in the impacting cylinder so as to cause the striking plate to push and strike the stapler cartridge outwards upon its relaxation. The impacting cylinder is driven by the working gear crowns of the operation gear. As such, when power is on, the impacting cylinder would strike forwards to push out the stapler cartridge when the working gear crowns no longer engage the impacting cylinder due to retraction of the impacting cylinder caused by the operation gear. The pressing member may be urged by a pushrod of the operation gear so as to disengage from the lock-thrusting piece thereby returning to its original position and turning off the power. Then one of the press buttons is released to cause the lock-thrusting piece to return to the engagement position with the pressing member. This invention provides a stapling gun structure that can be easily implemented and is of a simple and inventive construction.
