Abstract

A dehumidifying drier apparatus prepares dry air by passing air to be dehumidified through a dehumidifying rotor (2), being a rotating body including a absorbent material for absorbing moisture, to cause the rotor to absorb moisture in the air to be dehumidified, and passes heated air, prepared in a heater (3), through the dehumidifying rotor (2) having absorbed moisture, to dry the dehumidifying rotor (2). The heater (3) is disposed in the vicinity of the dehumidifying rotor (2) upstream in the heated air's airflow passage, and is configured so that the distance between the heater (3) and the heated-air passing surface of the dehumidifying rotor (2) gradually increases heading from the circumferential side of the dehumidifying rotor (2) radially toward its center.
