Abstract

The present invention relates to a connector for electrically/physically connecting boards. The connector includes a female terminal, a female holder, a male terminal, and a male holder. The female terminal has a first male terminal reception piece and a second male terminal reception piece which are vertically extended from one side of a female terminal base section and are separated from each other by a predetermined distance, wherein the first male terminal reception piece has a reception piece projection projected into the direction of the second male terminal reception piece at one side of its end and the width of the end is reduced by a predetermined section at the other side. The female holder has a first supporting section and a second supporting section which form a female holder slot for the female terminal at a female holder base section, wherein the first and second male terminal reception pieces are respectively supported by the first and second supporting sections in the female holder slot, and a space corresponding to the reduced width of the end of the first male terminal reception piece is formed between the first supporting section and the first male terminal reception piece. The male terminal has a terminal combining section extended vertically from one side of a male terminal base section and a combining section projection projected from the end of the terminal combining section to correspond to the reception piece projection. The male holder has a male holder base section at which a male holder slot for the male terminal is formed, and an inserting section which is vertically projected from the male holder base section and is inserted between the first and second male terminal reception pieces, wherein the terminal combining section is received in the inserting section, and so both sides of the terminal combining section are exposed.
