Abstract

The present invention provides a high sensitivity inertial mouse, particularly a high sensitivity computer mouse produced with micro-electromechanic inertial sensing theory. The mouse according to the present invention employs the micro-electromechanic inertial sensing theory, and comprises a 2-D or 3-D inertial or acceleration sensor, and the signal processing method for data extraction, noise suppression quiescent zone threshold configuration, base line tracking, displacement operation, and sensitivity adjustment, so as to apply techniques of the micro-electromechanical sensor to producing computer mouse. Thus, the mouse according to the present invention provides the benefits of power saving and light weight, which is different from the power consuming optical mouse or foul roller mouse. With the improvement on sensitivity to overcome the production barrier of inertial mouse, the functions of micro-electromechanic inertial mouse are stable and reliable, and ready for mass production for the commercial market.
