Abstract

The present invention aims to provide an apparatus for supplying water for a laundry machine of simple structure which prevents water rebounding, which reduces sound of supplying water, and which supplies water uniformly and impregnate it to the garments even when water is supplied in the state of rotating the washing/dehydrating tub 3 at high speed. In a full automatic washing machine, a foamed water generation device 11 is installed from a flexible hose 10 towards a water discharge opening of a washing/dehydrating tub 3. Beforesaid foamed water generation device 11 is a planar box 12 consisting of a rear box 12a and a front box 12b, which is installed therein a filter 22 on a screen and narrow slit-like filters 23a, 23b stacked up-and-down. The filters 23a, 23b are biased left-and-right only with a slit 24 width. Water impinges on the transversal grid plate 25 of any filter. Water, going through beforesaid foamed water generation device 11, develops into an air-included foamed water by the filters, and then flows to the washing/dehydrating tub 3.
