Abstract
A compression connector comprises a ferrule including a housing and a channel in the housing, a contact pin movably contained within the channel for electrical connection with an outside electronic component, and a coil spring. A pair of ball-like members are provided between the contact pin and the coil spring, wherein a first ball-like member of said pair supports the contact pin and a second ball-like members being sized in a way that they offset from each other with respect to the channel when there is a connection between the contact pin, ball-like members and coil spring.
