Abstract

A backlight assembly comprises a light-emitting source for emitting light, and a reflector comprising a base portion and a plurality of sidewall portions extending from the base portion, wherein a sidewall portion further comprises a surface with one or more angle, in conjunction with the base portion, thereby reflecting the emitting light toward a predetermined direction.
