Abstract

A method for drilling a thin sheet glass uses an annular drill to form an aperture on a thin sheet glass, and comprises the following steps: fastening the thin sheet glass; using an annular drill to drill the thin sheet glass; stopping the annular drill before the drill penetrating the sheet glass and removing the drill from the sheet glass to form an annular slit; aligning the annular drill on the annular slit from the other face of the thin-sheet glass; drilling the thin-sheet glass from the aligned face to form an aperture on the sheet glass; using the aperture as a center to cut out an annular aperture with an even larger radius; and using an external force to remove parts of the thin sheet glass other than the annular part in order to form a concentric glass test piece.
