Among which a processing unit is equipped to detect and calculate the residual power, the average power consumption and remaining playing time of the audio/video multimedia file or data of the portable audio/video playing device in order to further moderately reduce the output volume of the video or the audio so as to cut down the power consumption of the portable audio/video playing device, thereby enabling the portable audio/video playing device to complete the playing of the audio/video multimedia file or data before the power is fully consumed.
