Abstract

The present invention provides a measurement method and device for electrochemical battery characteristics containing solid-state or paste-state electrolyte. The measurement method includes the following steps: providing a liquid at one electrode of the electrochemical battery; providing a detection probe to be placed in the liquid and approaching the electrode surface for providing a stable reference potential; providing a potential measurement device; when operating the electrochemical battery, with the potential measurement device to simultaneously measure the potential difference between the detection probe and the electrode, the potential difference between the detection probe and the opposite electrode of the electrode, and the output potential of the electrochemical battery.
