Abstract

This invention relates to a protein expression method, in which the heterologous protein gene is connected to the oleosin promoter of plant (e. g. paddy rice) by the operation of genetic engineering and, under the control of particular promoter, the heterologous protein is undividedly expressed on the grain bran of cereal plant (e. g. rice bran). This invention also includes the expression carrier and the preparation of heterologous protein distinctively expressed on the seed outer shell of cereal plants, in which the expression carrier comprises an oleosin promoter and a heterologous protein gene.
