Abstract

A method for producing an aluminum continuous casting sheet with high formability comprises using a sheet casting and rolling process to produce an aluminum alloy sheet; homogenizing the aluminum alloy sheet; subjecting the homogenized aluminum alloy sheet to a cold rolling process; and applying an annealing treatment on the aluminum alloy sheet with high formability. The invented method can produce an aluminum alloy sheet with uniform and fine recrystallization grain texture. Also the resulting product has a weakened aluminum alloy cube texture strength, and the original 0/90 DEG Earing orientation of the aluminum alloy is altered to 45 DEG Earing orientation, thereby resulting an excellent aluminum alloy sheet with high formability.
