Abstract
A method of conversion of image from low-resolution into high-resolution. The method converts a low-resolution source image with M*N pixels into a high-resolution target image with KM*HN pixels. The method first chooses a processing pixel from the source image and analyses the processing pixel and its neighborhood pixels to choose a character pattern. Then, the method calculates a compensation matrix according to the value of the processing pixel and the character pattern. Finally, the method calculates K*H target pixels according to the value of the processing pixel and the compensation matrix. The method repeats the above steps until all the pixels of the source image are processed.
