Abstract

A fast recovery device and method thereof are provided whereby a synchronized clock signal is generated by use of a Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) and a comparator in a procedure of NRZ data recovery. The clock signal generated by DDS is predetermined as the transmitting rate of NRZ data, and a reset circuit is used to speedily reset the DDS, such that the clock signal is synchronized and then is used to sample an NRZ data signal for recovering NRZ data.
