Abstract

The invention relates to nematic liquid-crystal mixtures comprising one or more compounds of the formula I, characterised in that the mixtures comprise less than 10% byweight of compounds of the formula IIIb* and less than 10% byweight of compounds of the formula IIIc*, in which R and R1 are as defined in Claim 1, and to liquid-crystal displays containing these mixtures.
