Abstract
Disclosed is a drain cover with a closing device, comprising a cover unit arranged between two opposite walls of a drain groove and forming at least one drain hole, and at least a closing device operatively coupled to the drain hole. The closing device comprises a pivot base mounted to an underside of the cover unit and forming an interior hollow chamber aligned with the drain hole, and a swing arm swingingly pivoted to the base by a pivot. The swing arm has a pivoting weight block and a closing block extending from the pivoting weight block. With the swing of the swing arm, the closing block is normally in contact with the underside of the base to close the drain hole, and automatically separates from the underside due to weight of water accumulated thereon to become an open condition for releasing the water.
