Abstract

The weft-insertion nozzle has a nozzle body and a needle having a weft-guiding hole and inserted into the nozzle body and ejects the fluid supplied between the nozzle body and the needle. The needle has a needle tip having outer diameter decreasing toward the tip side, and a plurality of straightening walls extending from the needle tip outward in radial direction are integrally attached to the outer circumference of the needle tip. The filling operation nozzle of fluid jet type weaving machine improves the straightening effect of a fluid even at a high-speed operation of a loom.
