Abstract

This invention relates to a fastening/releasing structure inserted in a vehicular cigarette lighter socket, including: a rod body, a rotating ring, two arcuate sheets and a resilient collar. The rod body is formed at an end face with an outer threading zone, and another end face with an oblique retaining ring. The bore of the rotating ring is provided with an inner threading hole that is adapted to be threaded to the outer treading zone, such that the rotating ring may be rotated so as to move reciprocally along the range where the outer threading zone extends. The two arcuate sheets are covered by the resilient collar so as to jointly clamp the two arcuate sheets to the screw rod and located between the rotating ring and the oblique retaining ring, to allow the fastening/releasing structure to be inserted into a vehicular cigarette lighter socket. Rotation of the rotating ring will cause the two arcuate sheets to be pushed to the oblique face of the oblique retaining ring to expand the outer diameter of the fastening/releasing structure so as to be tightly affixed to the inner wall of the cigarette lighter socket.
