Abstract

This invention provides an annular inner flame type burner for a gas stove provided with a plurality of flame holes opening inwardly in an inner circumferential portion thereof. The flame holes are of the form of longitudinal slots in the upward and downward direction and are inclined radially and inwardly in one of the circumferential directions. Although the inclination angle of the flame hole in the circumferential direction is not excessively enlarged, inward extension of flame can be effectively prevented. In the inner flame type burner for a gas stove, each flame hole is also inclined relative to the upward and downward direction such that the upper end of each flame hole is offset from the lower end thereof in the one of the circumferential directions. The injection axis of the gas injected from the upper end of the flame hole is offset radially and outwardly from the injection axis of the gas injected form the lower end of the flame hole. Therefore, although the inclination angle of the flame hole in the circumferential direction is not increased, inward extension of flame can be effectively prevented.
