Abstract
A device for manufacturing bottle comprises a die ring (22) for holding the bottom of a cylindrical object with bottom (W), and a tool holder disposed facing the opening part of the cylindrical object with bottom (W) and having a plurality of machining tools (32) that form the cylindrical object with bottom W into a variety of shapes, the die ring (22) and the tool holder are so supported that both a relative rotation and a movement relative to the axial direction are feasible, and the cylindrical object with bottom (W) is formed into a variety of shapes sequentially by each machining tool (32) in order to manufacture the bottle can, wherein a limiting means (110) for limiting the forward movement of each machining tools (32) or the die ring (22) upon the forward end position of the tool holder or the die ring (22) to prevent the distance between each machining tools (32) and the die ring (22) from being under a given value is comprised. In accordance with the above device for manufacturing bottle, even though at least either the die ring (22) or the tool holder is thermal expanded due to the repeated action of the die ring (22) or the tool holder being driven to rotate or move, since the limiting means (110) is provided, the distance between each machining tools (32) and the die ring (22) will not be under the given value while the die ring (22) and the tool holder approaching each other. As a result, a stability of the holding position of the cylindrical object with bottom W with respect to each machining tool (32) upon the starting of the process by each machining tool is possible, and it is therefore capable of forming a bottle can with high precision.
