Abstract

The present invention provides a UV-curable ink formula for an ink-jet printer and a method for producing same. The invented method comprises: preparing a mono-carboxyl monomer and polyvinyl pyrrolidone to be used as a main solution including 90~95 wt% of mono-carboxyl monomer and 10~5 wt% of polyvinyl pyrrolidone; loading the two into a mixer to be mixed at a temperature below 40 DEG C at a low mixing rate to form a clear solution; adding suitable amounts of a carboxyl photo initiator, silicon dioxide, and a fluffy powder, in which the three processing aids are added separately and sequentially. The resulting mixture is mixed at a suitable temperature to form a uniform solution, followed by filtration to form the final product.
