Abstract

Disclosed is a method and device for continuously manufacturing container jackets. A substrate and two plastic films are each wrapped about plural first and second reeling mechanisms. A hole punching mechanism then punches holes that are spaced apart on the substrate. A stamping device is then employed to successively form plural notches, which has openings facing outwards, and are normal to lengthwise direction of the substrate. The substrate and the films then pass through a folding mechanism thereby causing the two plastic films to wrap over the top and bottom of the substrate. A fusing device is then adopted to fuse the plastic films at the top and bottom of the holes that are spaced apart. A cutting device is then adopted to cut off parts of the connected regions aligning the notches. The plastic films are then heated to seal and cut along the parts that correspond to the notches.
