Abstract
It is an object of the invention to ensure a life balance for luminescent elements on the entire display area of a display panel having separately formed a multi-color display section and a single-color display section on an identical substrate. In the display panel 1, the multi-color display section 2 includes a plurality of unit display areas 20A, 20G and 20B with each display element 2A consisting of different colors, while the single-color display section 3 is composed of one unit display area 30 with each display element consisting of single one color. Further, in the display panel 1, the area of the unit display area 30 of the single-color display section 3 is formed to be larger than each of the respective unit display areas 20R, 20G and 20B of the multi-color display section 2.
