Abstract

The present invention relates to an improved circuit of common mode feedback (CMFB) amplifier and a method thereof and aims to extend the dynamic range of a CMFB amplifier mainly by adding two symmetric sets of mixed signal gain amplifier separately to each of the output end and input end of the CMFB amplifier so as to minimize the distortion under a large signal distortion generated when a deviation of the output direct-current (DC) level of the CMFB amplifier occurs due to any change in the DC level of the CMFB amplifier, the operating condition, or the manufacturing process. Thus, the present invention can resolve the distortion problem of the differential output signal of the CMFB amplifier caused by any output level deviation and, therefore, can extend the input dynamic range of the CMFB amplifier.
