Abstract

The present invention relates to a disposable suction tube and a method for producing the same. A polymeric photo polymerization process is used to fasten a chromatographic stationary phase material on the tip of a tiny suction tube for purification, desalination, or concentration of a biological sample for the convenience of a subsequent analysis procedure. According to the properties of a to-be-analyzed sample, the stationary phase material can be selected from different stationary phase materials, e.g. materials suitable for solid phase extraction or metal ion compatible chromatography, etc. A tiny suction tube according to the present invention is compatible with an ordinary tiny suction tube device and is widely applicable on the pretreatment (e.g. purification, desalination, concentration, etc.) of a minute amount of a biological sample (<10 micro L) .
