Abstract

Disclosed is a micro gas generator with an automatic ignition function which works before it gets weakness by heat, and the cleanness of the gas discharged therefrom will not be spoiled. The gas generator (1) comprises a cylindrical housing (4) consisting of a combustion chamber (6) containing a gas generating agent (5) which generates a high temperature gas by firing, a filter chamber (8) for receiving a filter material (7), and an igniter (10) set at the end (3) of the housing (4) such that the gas generating agent (5) in said combustion chamber (6) can be ignited to burn. A partition member (9) is provided so as to divide the combustion chamber (6) and filter chamber (7), and in the combustion chamber (6), there is filled up with a enhancer agent (14).
