Abstract

The present invention relates to an electrical connector which is assembled on a printed circuit board to electrically connect a flat flexible cable with the printed circuit board. The electrical connector has a housing, multiple connecting parts, a lid, and a lock part. The housing has an open part for the insertion of the flat flexible cable. Located on the housing, the multiple connecting parts are pressed onto the flat flexible cable inserted from the open part for the electrical connection with the flat flexible cable. The lid is installed on the housing and can rotate correspondingly to open/close the open part. The lock part is used for keeping the lid not to rotate from being closed to open. The lid has multiple accepting parts opposite to the multiple connecting parts, respectively. By means of the rotation of the lid from being closed to open, the accepting parts lift the multiple connecting parts up along the direction opposite to the pressing direction to form an insertion space for the insertion of the flat flexible cable. Also, the lock part is installed on at least one of the multiple connecting parts and, when the lid is slid along the cable insertion direction to a designated locking position, can be joined with an accepting part to lock the accepting part.

Description

FFC( [Technical field to which the invention belongs] The present invention relates to an electrical connector for connecting a flat flexible cable such as FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) to a circuit board. [Prior art] A conventional electrical connector is provided with a housing having an opening portion for inserting a flat flexible cable, and the flat flexible cable inserted from the opening is crimped by a plurality of connection portions held in the housing, Used to achieve electrical connection to the flat flexible cable. In this type of electrical connector, there is a cover that can be installed in the housing in a relatively rotatable manner by turning to open. At the crimping position of a plurality of connecting portions, an insertion space can be inserted into a flat flexible cable, so that it can be inserted without force Insert the flat flexible cable into this insertion space. This type of electrical connector is a so-called ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) type. When the flat flexible electrical winding is inserted and the cover is closed, a plurality of connection parts are crimped to the flat flexible cable to achieve electrical connection. In such an electrical connector, for example, when the lid is closed, the lid is subjected to a force in the closing direction, making it difficult to open the lid. However, when the electrical connector is subjected to external force (vibration, etc.) during manufacture, during transportation and use, it may cause the cover to open, the flat flexible cable mounted to it to fall off, or the cover may be damaged. Therefore, there has been proposed an electrical connector (refer to, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 2 0 2-2 5 2 0 6 7), and the lid is slid to the designated lock position by sliding the lid in the closed state to engage the lid. It can be connected to the specified position of the electrical connector 5 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 (for example, a metal reinforcing fin), and the lid can be closed. However, in the electrical connector of the above-mentioned method, it is necessary to provide parts for the locking mechanism near the opening portion where the cover is installed, or to extend the strength fins. Therefore, it is desirable to form a mechanism capable of holding the lid in a closed state with a simpler structure. In addition, in the above-mentioned electrical connector, the lid can be slid in the closed state regardless of whether the flat shape is inserted into the insertion space or not. g When opening the cover to insert the flat flexible cable into the insertion space, make sure that the cover does not slide to the locked position while opening the cover. Therefore, the difficulty in installing the flat flexible cable is a problem. With the recent miniaturization of sub-machines (mobile phones, digital video cameras, and analog video photography), it is better to reduce the size and thickness of electrical connectors. However, the above-mentioned (thin) electrical connectors will cause the above problems. It is particularly remarkable that the present invention has been completed against such a background, and an object thereof is to provide an electrical connector that can be simply configured to lock a cover in a closed state. In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide an electrical connector that is easy to install and is flat and flexible. [Summary of the Invention] The present invention relates to an electrical connector (1, 1 0 1), which is assembled in the electrical S (8) for electrically connecting a flat flexible cable (7) to the circuit board. The electrical connector has: a housing (2) is provided with an opening portion (2 6) for inserting the flat cable; and a plurality of connection portions (5, 6) is held in the housing and crimped to the flat flexible cable inserted through the opening portion 312 / Explanation of the Invention (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 Lock the cable which is placed in the sub-lock. Therefore, it is necessary to make electricity I: etc.) In the small 0 to make the cable "reverse. The softness mentioned above 6 200428705 is used to electrically connect the flat flexible cable; and the cover (4) can be installed on the casing in a phase-shifting manner to open and close the opening portion; and the portion (5 7 2) is used to connect the flat flexible cable. The lid is locked so as not to change from the closed state to the open state. The lid has a portion (4 5) facing the plurality of connecting portions, and is turned from the closed state to the opened state. The connecting portion is lifted in the opposite direction of the crimping direction to form an insertion space (27) for inserting the flat flexible cable. In addition, the locking portion is provided in at least one of the plurality of connecting portions (5). In the state where the cover is slid to the specified position along the cable insertion direction (D), the cover is engaged with the receiving portion to restrict the receiving portion. In addition, the alphanumeric characters in parentheses indicate the constituent elements of the embodiment described later, etc. However, the present invention is not intended to be construed as being limited to this embodiment. The following is the same as this item. According to the present invention, at least one of the plurality of connection portions has a connection portion locking portion, and the cover is The locking part and the receiving part of the lid are used to restrict the receiving part, and the lid can be locked in the closed state, so the lid can be locked in the closed state with a simpler structure. One of the plurality of connecting parts (5, 6) described above At least one of the connecting portions (5) is provided with a blocking portion (5 7 1), which can be restricted to accompany the cover (4) when the flat flexible cable (7) is not inserted into the insertion space (2 7). In the locking direction (cable insertion direction), the receiving part is displaced when sliding; on the other hand, when the flat flexible cable is inserted in the insertion space to close the cover, the plurality of The opposite direction of the above crimping direction is lifted up to the above-mentioned flat-shaped soft 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834. The rotation lock can be moved to accept the connection. The connection lock can be set correspondingly. The specified amount corresponding to the thickness of the (45) -shaped flexible joint cable 7 200428705 can be used to enable the cover to slide away from the receiving portion in the locking direction. According to this configuration, in a state where the flat flexible cable is not inserted into the insertion space, the lid is restricted by the blocking portion so that it cannot slide in the locking direction, so the lid can be maintained in an openable and closable state. Therefore, when the flat flexible cable is inserted into the insertion space, since the insertion space can be formed only by opening the cover, the installation of the flat flexible cable becomes easy. In addition, when the flat flexible cable is not inserted into the insertion space, the lid cannot be slid in the locking direction, so the lid cannot be locked. However, in this state, the lid is kept closed because the receiving portion is restricted to a plurality of connecting portions facing the receiving portion. Therefore, since the lid can be prevented from being easily opened and closed, the lid can be prevented from being opened and damaged during the manufacture or transportation of the electrical connector. The locking portion (5 7 2) and the blocking portion (5 7 1) may be provided with a protruding portion (5 7) provided on at least one of the connecting portions (5) of the plurality of connecting portions. )on. In this case, it is preferable that the receiving portion (4 5) slides in the locking direction with the cover (4) when the flat flexible cable (7) is not inserted in the insertion space (2 7). Limited by the blocking portion (5 7 1) of the protruding portion (5 7); on the other hand, when the flat flexible cable is inserted in the insertion space, the sliding movement of the cover in the locking direction enters the A space (4 6) formed between the protruding portion and the flat flexible cable is restricted by the locking portion (5 7 2) of the protruding portion. Preferably, the cover (4) is provided with a joint (4 3, 4 7), which can correspond to the cover 8 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 in the locked state in the locked state. Slide and engage in the specified position (36, 37) of the electrical connector (1, 1 0 1) to limit the rotation of the cover toward the open state. With this structure, the lid can be locked in the closed state more securely by engaging the lid with the specified position of the electrical connector. The electrical connector of the present invention preferably further includes a reinforcing fin (3), which is pressed into the casing (2) to reinforce the electrical connector (1, 101) to the circuit board (8). Combination. In this case, the joint portion (4, 3, 7) may also be joined to the reinforcing fin to restrict the rotation of the cover (4) toward the open state. The reinforcing fin is, for example, the end surface on the circuit board side is brought into contact with the circuit board, and the contact portion is soldered, and the periphery of the contact portion is covered with solder to reinforce the fixing of the electrical connector to the circuit board. In this way, the joining of the reinforcing fins and the joints to the circuit board is used to restrict the displacement of the lid toward the open state, so that the joints can be restricted and stabilized, and the lid can be more reliably prevented from being opened. Preferably, the electrical connector of the present invention further includes a slide restricting portion (48) for restricting the cover (4) from sliding from the locked position in the unlocking direction (the direction opposite to the coil insertion direction). According to this configuration, it is possible to form a structure in which the lid cannot be slid in the unlocking direction unless the lid is manually displaced by the restriction of the slide restricting portion. Therefore, in the use of this electrical connector, it is possible to prevent the cover from being accidentally slid in the unlocking direction due to vibration and the like, which can cause the cover to open and the flat flexible cable to come off. In addition, in the locked position, not only the opening and closing of the lid can be locked, but also the sliding of the lid can be restricted by 9 312 / Invention Manual (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705, so that the installation of the cable can be more easily identified. . The electrical connector of the present invention may further include a reinforcing fin (3), which is pressed into the housing (2) to reinforce the combination of the electrical connector (10 to the circuit board (8)). Here In this case, it is preferable that the sliding restricting portion restricts the sliding of the J cover by engaging the cover (4) and the reinforcing fin. With this configuration, the fixing fin and the sliding restricting portion are supplemented by fixing the circuit board. The joint can restrict the lid and stabilize it, so it can prevent the lid from being opened more securely. The locking portion (5 7 2) can also be set to the designated first connecting portion (5) of the plurality of connecting portions. In this case, it is preferable that the electrical connection further includes a lock position restriction portion (6 6 1), which is provided on a second connection portion (6) different from the first connection portion of the multiple connection portions, and In the state where the flat flexible cable (7) is inserted in the insertion space (2), the cover (4) is restricted to slide in the locking direction so that the slide does not exceed the position. In addition, the first connection portion ( 5) In the direction of the above cover (4) Being pressed into the housing (2); the second connecting portion (6) is pressed into the housing in the unlocking direction of the upper body. In this case, it is preferable to form the first connecting portion (5) and the second The connection portions (alternating in one direction (a direction orthogonal to the cable insertion direction) are arranged alternately, and the connection portion has a first fixing portion (5 4) to the circuit board (8) and a second connection portion to the second fixing portion of the circuit board. (6 4) Arranged in a staggered configuration along the above direction. With this configuration, even in the first connection part and the second connection 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93_06 / 93108834 (1) (48) ): The strong displacement (5,6) of the connector is connected to the above-mentioned system by locking and locking the cover (6) along the 10th part of the first electrical state. 20042004705 When the pitch is narrow, you can also ensure that there is sufficient The space is used for soldering the respective fixing parts to the circuit board. Therefore, it is possible to prevent solders formed around the respective fixing portions from interfering with each other to cause a short circuit, and at the same time, it is possible to increase the assembly density. The features and effects of the above and other objects in the present invention will be made clearer by the following description of embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. [Embodiment] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing an appearance structure of an electrical connector 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 (a) is a plan view, FIG. 1 (b) is a front view, and FIG. 1 (c) is a rear view. Figure 1 (d) is the right side view. However, in FIGS. 1 (a) to (c), the illustration of the middle portion in the left-right direction of the electrical connector 1 will be omitted. The electrical connector 1 is a connector for smaller electronic devices such as mobile phones, digital video cameras, and analog video cameras. The length in the left-right direction is about 13 mm, the length in the front-back direction is about 5 mm, and the height is 1 mm. degree. The electrical connector 1 includes a housing 2 made of synthetic resin, and has an internal space 24 formed by, for example, an upper plate portion 21, a lower plate portion 22, and left and right side plate portions 23. The electrical connector 1 is used to electrically connect a circuit board on which the electrical connector 1 is assembled, and a flat flexible cable such as an FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) inserted into the internal space 24 from the front side of the housing 2 in the insertion direction D. Pressing holes 25 extending from the front end to the rear are formed in the left and right side plate portions 23 of the housing 2, respectively. Reinforcing fins 3 are press-fitted from the front in each pressing-in hole 25 to reinforce the electrical connector 1 It is fixed to the circuit board. Each of the reinforcing fins 3 is made of, for example, a blanking process and a bending process of a metal plate 11 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705, and has: a press-in portion 31, which is press-fitted to The press-in hole 25; and the main body portion 3 2 are protruded to the front from the side plate portion 23 of the casing 2 in the installed state. The lower edge of the main body portion 32 constitutes a fixing portion 33 for the circuit board. By soldering the contact portion between the fixing portion 33 and the circuit board, the entire periphery of the fixing portion 33 is covered with solder to reinforce the electrical connection. Device 1 fixes the circuit board. In addition, a lower end edge of the press-fitting portion 31 is formed with, for example, a stop projection 34 for press-fitting the press-fitting portion 31 from the front into the press-fitting hole 25 to be stopped at the press-fitting hole 25. The outer casing 2 is formed, for example, by a length in the front-rear direction of the upper plate portion 21 which is about half of the length in the front-rear direction of the lower plate portion 22. Thus, the upper half of the upper side of the outer casing 2 (reinforced by a pair of fins 3 in the The main body part 3 2 is a part of the package) constituting an opening 2 6 for inserting a flat flexible cable into the internal space 2 4, and this opening part 2 6 is a metal rotating shaft that can extend coaxially in the left-right direction. A cover 4 made of synthetic resin, which is rotated around the center 1 is opened and closed. In the cover 4, for example, a metal plate 42 for reinforcing the cover 4 is embedded. Each of the rotation shafts 41 is protruded from the left and right end surfaces of the cover 4 to the left and right directions, and is inserted through the rotation shaft 41. To the guide hole 3 5 formed on the upper side of the main body portion 3 2 of the corresponding reinforcing fin 3, the cover 4 is rotatably installed with respect to the reinforcing fin 3 and the guide hole 3 5 extends in the front-rear direction. In the notch portion opened at the rear, the rotation shaft 41 follows the guide hole 3 5 so that the cover 4 can slide in the front-rear direction. The lower part of the central part in the front-rear direction of the left and right end faces of the lid 4 is formed by protruding parts such as the joint part 43. In addition, in the main body portion 12 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 3 2 of each of the reinforcing fins 3, the front end portion is formed, for example, a protruding portion 36 is formed, and the opening portion 2 6 is folded at the side The curved shape protrudes to approximate a ladder shape (for example, about 0.15 nim). After opening the cover 4 and inserting the flat flexible cable into the housing 2 through the opening 26, the cover 4 is closed, and the cover 4 is slid to the rear In this case, each joint portion 4 3 of the cover 4 slides below the corresponding protruding portion 36 of the reinforcing fin 3. Then, in a state where the cover 4 is slid to the rearmost side, for example, the joint portion 4 is viewed in plan view. The entire length (for example, about 0.4 in m) of 3 in the front-back direction overlaps with the protruding portion 36. According to this configuration, the lid 4 is slid to the rear side because the engaging portion 4 3 is The protrusions 36 of the respective reinforcing fins 3 are restricted from above, so that the lid 4 can be reliably prevented from opening. In particular, the reinforcing fins 3 are firmly fixed to the circuit board by soldering, so that the lid 4 can be stably restricted. Indeed the joint 4 3 The cover 4 can be prevented from being opened. However, for example, the structure in which the convex portion formed on one of the cover 4 and the reinforcing fin 3 and the concave portion formed on the other side are joined can also restrict the opening of the cover 4. In addition, the cover 4 The joint portion 43 is not limited to those joined to the reinforcing fin 3, and may also be a structure joined to other parts of the electrical connector 1 (for example, the housing 2). The housing 2 is provided for crimping the The flat flexible cable inserted into the insertion space 2 7 to achieve the electrical connection between the flat flexible cable and the circuit board. A plurality of connection portions 5, 6 (for example, a total of 3 5) are held so as to face the openings 2 6. Each of the connecting portions 5, 6 is made of, for example, a punching process of a metal plate. The plurality of connecting portions 5, 6 are, for example, a left and right 13 3 in a plane view 2/2 / Description of the Invention (Supplement) / 93 -06/93108834 200428705 Directionally spaced (e.g., 0 · 3 mm pitch) (see Fig. 1). In this embodiment, a plurality of connecting portions 5, 6 are pressed into the housing 2 for example. The first connection 5 and the second connection pushed in from the rear There are two types of parts 6, and the first and second connecting parts 5 are alternately arranged in the left-right direction. However, the direction of the first connecting part 5 and the second connecting part 6 with respect to the housing is not limited to the above-mentioned direction, and may be the first The connecting side is pressed into the housing 2 and the second connecting portion 6 is pushed in from the front. Alternatively, the first connecting portion 5 and the second may be pushed in from the same direction (front or rear). 2 and 3 are cross-sectional views taken along line A-A of FIG. 1 (c). And FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B of FIG. 1 (c). Referring to FIGS. 2 to 5, each The connecting portion (the fifth connecting portion 6 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 and the second connecting portion 6 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5) is such that the front end portion (front end portion 1 3, 6 3) projects to the upper plate portion of the housing 2. 2 1 front side). A recess 44 is formed at the rear end edge of the cover 4 to prevent the cover 4 from interfering with each other at the front end of each of the connecting portions 5 when the cover 4 is opened and closed. In the groove 44, for example, a receiving portion 45 having a cam shape with an approximately elliptical cross section in the cross section is formed, and when the lid 4 is closed, the major axis of the cross section of the ellipse is extended in the front-rear direction. In the state where the non-flexible cable 7 is inserted into the casing 2 and the cover 4 is closed and in Fig. 4 (a)), the lower ends of the front ends of the respective connecting portions 5, 6 are 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 (a)) parallel to the front from the housing 2 and 6 in the press-in portion 5 along the 2 from the rear to the housing 2 connecting portion 6 In addition, Figure 4 1 connecting portion but the moving piece part side (the front ends of the cover 4 and 6) The receiving part 4 5 in the shape of the figure will be flat and soft (Figure 2 (a), non-contact 14 200428705. The ground faces the corresponding receiving part 4 5 above. In this state, it becomes a stress-free effect on the connecting parts 5 and 6. In addition, the shape of the receiving portion 45 is limited to those having an approximately elliptical cross-section, and other cams may also be used. When the cover 4 is opened from the state shown in FIG. 2 (a) and FIG. 4 (a), the I connecting portion 5, 6 The receiving part 4 being rotated is lifted up, and a space 2 7 having a height equal to or greater than the thickness of the flat flexible cable 7 is formed at the connection position of the connecting part 5 (refer to FIG. 2 (b) and FIG. 4 (b)). Space for the flat flexible cable 7 to be inserted into the connecting portions 5, 6. This connector 1 allows the flat flexible cable 7 to be inserted into the connector without insertion force ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) type. The operation of the first connection portion 5 with respect to the insertion of the flat flexible cable 7 with the cover 4 will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. The state in which the lid 4 is closed indicates the state in which the lid 4 is opened from the state in Fig. 2 (a). In addition, the state in which the flat flexible cable 7 is inserted in the state where the lid 4 is opened 3 (b) shows that from Fig. 3 (a) The state in which the lid 4 is closed is shown in the figure, and the lid 4 is slid to the rear. The first connecting portion 5 is provided with, for example, a fixing piece portion 51 that extends in the front-back direction from the bottom of the internal space 24; elasticity The deformed portion protrudes upward from the rear end portion of the fixed piece portion 51 to become the shape of the curved side; and the movable piece portion 53 is connected to the elastic deformed portion and extends to the front of the upper plate portion 21. The front end of the fixed piece portion 51 is formed with a lead portion 5 4 protruding downward (on the side of the circuit board 8), and the contact portion of the soldering area on the assembly surface of the portion 5 4 and the circuit board 8 is 312 / Instruction Manual (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 Each company is not just a cough person. You can insert the electric pressure of 27 by the pressure of 6, which can be opened and closed and the state of Fig. 2 (a), Fig. 2 (b), H 3 (a), Fig. 3 (c), the housing 2 P 52, forward 52, 15 200428705 to form the lead, and the periphery of the contact portion is covered with solder. Thereby, the first connection portion 5 is fixed to the circuit board 8 and the first connection portion 5 is electrically connected to the circuit board. 8. In addition, at the end portion of the fixing piece portion 51, a press-fitting portion 55 protruding to the rear is formed, and the press-fitting portion 55 is pushed in from the front into the press-fitting hole 28 formed in the housing 2. The first connection is The portion 5 is fixed to the casing 2. At the upper edge of the press-fitting portion 55, for example, a stop protrusion 5 51 is formed to stop the press-fitting portion 55 pressed into the press-fitting hole 28 from the front. From the central portion of the movable piece portion 53, for example, a connection portion 5 6 crimped to a flat flexible cable 7 (so-called upper contact type) inserted into the insertion space 27 is protruded downward. In addition, in the central portion of the fixed piece portion 51, a pressing portion 5 1 1 is formed to be slightly forward from a position facing the connecting portion 56. In addition, at the front end portion of the movable piece portion 53 (rear side of the receiving portion 45), the flat flexible cable is not inserted (the state of FIG. 2 (a)) so that the cover 4 cannot slide backward. The blocking portion 57 that restricts the receiving portion 45 is formed to protrude downward. As shown in Fig. 2 (a), when the flat flexible cable 7 is not inserted into the casing 2 and the cover 4 is closed, even if the cover 4 slides to the rear, the receiving portion 4 5 is slid along the contact surface 5 8 The blocking portion 5 7 is restricted by the front surface (sliding restriction surface 5 7 1), so it cannot slide to the rear. When the lid 4 is opened from the state shown in FIG. 2 (a), the receiving portion 45 is rotated with the rotation of the lid 4 (see FIG. 2 (b)). Since the receiving portion 45 has a cam shape having an approximately elliptical cross-section, the front end portion of the movable piece portion 53 is lifted with the rotation of the receiving portion 45. Thereby, the height between the movable piece portion 53 and the fixed piece portion 16 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 5 1 (between the connecting portion 56 and the pressing portion 5 1 1) is formed to have a height equal to Or an insertion space 27 larger than the thickness of the flat flexible cable 7. As shown in FIG. 2 (b), in the state where the cover 4 is most opened, the length of the cross section of the receiving portion 45 (the direction of the long axis of the ellipsoidal section) and the underside of the front end portion of the movable piece portion 53 (contact surface 58) are slightly omitted. Since it is orthogonal, the force applied to the receiving portion 45 from the receiving surface to the contact surface of the movable piece portion 53 below does not act in the direction of rotation of the receiving portion 45 (the direction in which the lid 4 is closed). Therefore, when the lid 4 is most opened, the state shown in FIG. 2 (b) is maintained. Then, as shown in FIG. 3 (a), the flat flexible cable 7 is inserted into the insertion space 2 7 from the front of the electrical connector 1, and when the cover 4 is rotated forward, it acts on the movable piece portion 53. The urging force is applied from the contact surface 58 to a direction in which the receiving portion 45 is rotated, so that the lid 4 is closed (see FIG. 3 (b)). In this state, the front end of the contact portion 5 6 of the movable piece portion 53 is crimped to the flat flexible cable 7 from above. At the same time, since the pressing portion 5 1 1 is slightly forward of the crimping position and presses the flat flexible cable 7 upward, the flat flexible cable 7 is firmly sandwiched between the first connecting portion 5 and To achieve these electrical connections. In the state shown in FIG. 3 (b), since the contact portion 56 is crimped to the flat flexible cable 7, the movable piece portion 53 is lifted up to the thickness portion of the flat flexible cable 7. Thereby, a space 4 6 is formed between the blocking portion 5 7 and the upper surface of the flexible flexible cable 7 at a sufficient height to allow the receiving portion 4 5 to pass. When the cover 4 is slid from the state shown in FIG. 3 (b) At the rear, the receiving portion 45 is placed in a space 46 formed below the blocking portion 57 (see FIG. 3 (c)). 17 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 In the state shown in Figure 3 (c), even when the cover 4 is to be opened, the end edge of the factor 4 contacts the flat flexible cable 7 and receives The upper part of the part is in contact with the lower part of the blocking part 5 7 (the rotation restricting surface 5 7 2), so that the receiving part 45 can be rotated, but the cover 4 cannot be opened. According to this embodiment, since the blocking portion 5 7 is provided on the first connecting portion 5, the lid 4 can be slid, and the blocking portion 5 7 and the receiving portion 4 5 of the lid 4 can be used to restrict the rotation of the receiving portion 45. 4 Locked in closed contact. Therefore, the cover 4 can be locked in a closed shape with a simpler structure. In addition, the flat flexible cable 7 is not inserted into the housing 2 (the state of 2 (a) and (b)) because the receiving portion 45 receives The sun of the blocking portion 5 prevents the lid 4 from sliding to the rear, so that the lid 4 can be kept open and closed. Therefore, when the flat flexible cable 7 is inserted into the housing 2, the insertion space can be formed only by opening the lid 4. 2 7, so flat flexible cable 7 is easily installed. In a state where the flat flexible cable 7 is not inserted into the insertion space 27, the cover 4 cannot be locked because the cover 4 cannot be slid. However, in this state, since the receiving portion 45 is restricted to face the connecting portions 5 and 6 with the receiving portion 45, the lid 4 is maintained in a closed state. Therefore, the lid 4 can be prevented from being opened and closed too easily, so that it can be prevented from being accidentally opened during the manufacture or transportation of the electrical connector 1 due to the accidental opening of the lid 4. In this embodiment, the sliding restriction surface 5 7 1 and the conversion are explained. The surface 5 7 2 is configured to be provided on the same member (blocking portion 5 7), but is configured to be provided on different members. Next, referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the opening and closing of the lid 4 and the description of “312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 for the lid 45 may not be used. The movement limit can also be shaped. 18 200428705 Insertion of the flexible cable 7 and the operation state of the second connection portion 6. Fig. 4 (a) shows a state where the flat flexible cable 7 is not inserted and the cover 4 is closed, and Fig. 4 (b) shows a state where the cover 4 is opened from the state of Fig. 4 (a). In addition, Fig. 5 (a) shows a state where the flat flexible cable 7 is inserted with the lid 4 opened, and Fig. 5 (b) shows a state where the lid 4 is closed from the state shown in Fig. 5 (a), and Fig. 5 (c) Shows the state where the cover 4 is slid behind. The second connecting portion 6 includes, for example, an approximately rectangular press-fitting portion 65, which is disposed at the rear end of the inner space 24 of the housing 2 and has a height substantially consistent with the height of the inner space 24. The fixing piece portion 61 is formed from this. The front end of the lower part of the press-in part 65 extends to the front along the bottom of the internal space 24; and the movable piece part 63 is extended from the front end of the upper end of the press-in part 65 through the elastic deformation part 6 2 to the upper plate part 2 1 Before the party. The second connection portion 6 is inserted into the inner space 2 4 of the casing 2 from the rear to press the press-in portion 65 into the casing 2 to fix the second connection portion 6 to the casing 2. A lower edge of the press-fitting portion 65 is formed with, for example, a retaining protrusion 6 5 1 for pressing the second connection portion 6 of the second connection portion 6 from the rear into the inner space 2 4, and is secured to the housing 2. On the inner surface, at the lower end of the press-fit portion 65, a lead portion 64 protruding to the lower side (the circuit board 8 side) is formed, and the contact portion of the soldering area of the lead portion 64 and the assembly surface of the circuit board 8 is formed by The periphery of the contact portion is covered with solder by soldering. Thereby, the second contact portion 6 is fixed to the circuit board 8 for electrically connecting the second connection portion 6 to the circuit board 8. In this embodiment, since the lead portion 54 of the first connection portion 5 protrudes from the front end portion of the housing 2 to the lower side, the lead portion 64 of the second connection portion 6 is from the outside 19 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93 -06/93108834 200428705 The rear end of the case 2 protrudes, so when the electrical connector 1 is viewed from below, the lead portions 5 4 and 6 4 of each connection portion 5 and 6 are arranged in a staggered pattern along the left and right directions (see Figure 1 (b) and c). Thereby, even when the pitch between the first connection portion 5 and the second connection portion 6 is narrow, a sufficient space can be secured for soldering the respective lead portions 5 4 and 64 to the circuit board 8. Therefore, solders formed around the respective lead portions 54, 64 can be prevented from interfering with each other to cause a short circuit, and assembly density can be improved. The front end portion of the movable piece portion 63 is, for example, an approximately L-shaped shape, and includes: (a so-called upper contact type) a contact portion 66 which extends approximately in the vertical direction, and is crimped from above to be inserted into the insertion portion. The flat flexible cable 7 in the space 2 7; and the contact portion 6 7 protrudes from the upper end of the contact portion 6 6 to the front, and the lower surface constitutes a contact surface 68 that contacts the receiving portion 45. In addition, a pressing portion 6 1 1 is formed at the front end of the fixing piece portion 6 1, and is located slightly forward from a position facing the contact portion 6 6 and protrudes upward. As shown in Fig. 4 (a), when the flat flexible electric view 7 is not inserted into the casing 2, when the cover 4 is opened from the closed state of the cover 4, the receiving part 45 is rotated with the rotation of the cover 4 (see Figure 4 (b)). Since the receiving portion 45 has a cam shape having an approximately elliptical cross-section, the front end portion of the movable piece portion 63 is lifted as the receiving portion 45 is rotated. Thereby, an insertion space 27 is formed between the movable piece portion 63 and the fixed piece portion 61 (between the contact portion 66 and the pressurizing portion 61) with a height equal to or greater than the thickness of the flat flexible cable 7. As shown in FIG. 4 (b), in the state where the lid 4 is most opened, the cross-sectional length direction of the receiving portion 45 (long axis direction of the elliptical cross-section) and the underside of the front end portion (contact surface 68) of the movable piece portion 63 are slightly positive. Is orthogonal. Therefore, the force shifted from the applied force 20 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 The contact surface 68 of the downward movable piece 63 is applied to the receiving portion 45, and the receiving portion 45 is not rotated. The direction (the direction in which the lid 4 is closed) has an effect. Therefore, when the lid 4 is most opened, the state shown in FIG. 4 (b) is maintained. Then, as shown in FIG. 5 (a), the flat flexible cable 7 is inserted into the insertion space 2 7 from the front of the electrical connector 1, and when the cover 4 is rotated to the front, it acts on the movable piece portion 63. The urging force is applied from the contact surface 68 to a direction in which the receiving portion 45 is rotated, so that the lid 4 is closed (see FIG. 5 (b)). In this state, the front end of the contact portion 6 6 of the movable piece portion 63 is crimped to the flat flexible cable 7 from above. At the same time, since the pressing portion 6 1 1 is slightly forward of the crimping position and presses the flat flexible cable 7 upward, the flat flexible cable 7 is firmly sandwiched by the second connecting portion 6 to achieve These are electrically connected. When the cover 4 is slid to the rear from the state shown in FIG. 5 (b) (refer to FIG. 5 (c)), the receiving portion 45 contacts the front surface of the contact portion 6 6 (the sliding restriction surface 6 6 1), so that The cover 4 does not slide further to the rear. At this time, in the first connection portion 5, the blocking portion 57 is positioned above the receiving portion 45. On the other hand, when the flat flexible cable 7 connected to the electrical connector 1 is detached, the cover 4 may be displaced by using a shape opposite to that described above. That is, the cover 4 is moved forward, and after the cover 4 is opened and closed, the cover 4 is opened, and the first and second connecting portions 5 and 6 are lifted to release the respective connecting portions 5, When 6 pairs of flat flexible cables 7 are crimped, the flat flexible cables 7 can be removed from the electrical connector 1 when the flat flexible cables 7 are pulled out forward. Fig. 6 is a perspective view showing an appearance structure of an electrical connector 1 0 1 of 21 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 7 is a diagram of the electrical connector. However, as shown in FIG. 7, the middle portion of the electrical connector 1 0 1 is omitted. The electrical connector 1 0 1 is, for example, a flat flexible cable 7 for FPC and the like similar to the first embodiment. < For the circuit board 8, the flat flexible cable 7 can be inserted into the space 2 7 without insertion force, and becomes a so-called Z IF type. The electrical connector 1 of this electrical connection 1 embodiment differs only in the configuration of the joint position of the i-wing piece 3. Therefore, the same reference numerals are added to the other figures, and descriptions thereof are omitted. At the lower portions of the left and right ends of the lid 4, for example, a front end is formed, and the joint portions 47 project to the side. In addition, at the front end portion of the upper portion of each of the main body portions 32, for example, a bent system is formed to protrude into an approximately V shape (for example, degrees) on the side of the opening portion 26. After the cover 4 is opened and the flat shape is softly inserted into the housing 2 through the openings 26, the cover 4 is closed and pressed to the rear; 5D), each joint portion 47 of the cover 4 slides to the corresponding protrusion部 37 下。 37 below. Then, in a state where the cover 4 is pressed into the f position), for example, the displacement of the joint portion 47 in a plane view is about 0.3 mm) so as to overlap the protrusion portion 37 vertically. According to such a configuration, the engaging portion 47, which presses the cover 4 to the rearmost side, is restricted by the protruding portions 37 of the respective reinforcing fins 3 to prevent the cover 4 from being opened. In particular, the reinforcing wing is firmly fixed to the circuit board 8 by soldering, so it can be stable; 312 / Invention Specification (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 1 0 1 The electrical connector t is connected to the gas in the left and right direction, Insertion into the device 1 01 and the first Xiangzi 4 and the complement 'in the protrusion 3 from the center to the strong wing 3 3, 0 · 1 3 mm Cheng soft cable 7 plug — (insertion direction reinforcement wing 3 ΐ Rear side (locking the L end (for example, because of the state, because it can be made, the sheet 3 can restrict the cover 22 200428705 and the joint 4 4 of the child 4 to prevent the cover 4 from being opened more securely.) In the upper part of the central part in the front-rear direction, for example, a restricting part 48 having an approximately triangular shape in plan view is formed to protrude to the side. As shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 4 8 is in a state of contacting the front surface of the protruding portion 37 of the reinforcing fin 3. When the cover 4 is pushed into the rear from this state, the protruding portion 37 is pressed to the outside by the restricting portion 4 8. The reinforcing wing 3 is elastically deformed. Then, when the cover 4 is further moved When entering the rear, the restricting portion 48 moves across the protruding portion 37 to the rear side of the protruding portion 37. In this state, the reinforcing flap 3 returns to the original state, and the protruding portion 37 is blocked by the restricting portion 4 8 The sliding toward the front side (unlocking direction) of the cover 4 is restricted, so if the external force is not applied to the cover 4 to displace it, it will not slide to the front side. This electrical connector 1 0 1 is the first implementation The electrical connector 1 of the same form can similarly open the cover 4 when the cover 4 is located at the closest front side, but cannot open the cover 4 when the cover 4 is located at the deepest side (locked position). As described above, when the cover 4 is pressed Into the deepest side, the cover 4 cannot be slid to the near side unless external force is applied to the cover 4. Therefore, the electrical connector 1 0 1 is in use, and can prevent the cover 4 from being accidentally damaged by vibration. Sliding to the near side causes the cover 4 to open and cause the flat flexible cable 7 to fall off. In particular, the cover 4 can be stably restricted from sliding to the near side by engaging with the reinforcing fins that are firmly fixed to the circuit board 8 Therefore, the lid 4 can be prevented from being opened more reliably. 23 312 / Invention Manual (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 In addition, the lid 4 can be locked and closed not only in the locked position, but also by the restricting portion 48. The sliding of 4 can improve the feeling of completion of the cable installation operation. However, its structure is not limited to the joining of the engaging portion 4 7 protruding from the cover 4 and the protruding portion 37 of the reinforcing tab 3 to restrict the cover. The opening of 4 or the engagement of the restricting portion 48 protruding from the cover 4 and the protruding portion 37 of the stubborn fin 3 is used to restrict the sliding of the cover 4. For example, it can also be formed by forming on the cover The engagement between the convex part of one of the 4 and the reinforcing fin 3 and the concave part formed on the other side is used to restrict the opening and closing or sliding of the cover 4. In addition, the joint portion 47 or the restricting portion 48 of the cover 4 is not limited to those joined to the reinforcing fins 3, and may be constituted by being joined to other parts of the electrical connector 1 (for example, the housing 2). The present invention is not limited to the contents of the above embodiments, and may be various changes made within the scope of the patent application. For example, a blocking portion 57 for preventing the cover 4 from sliding when the flat flexible cable 7 is not inserted in the insertion space 27; and the cover 4 is prevented from being locked in the locked position by the engagement of the blocking portion 57 and the receiving portion 45 of the cover 4. The indirect locking mechanism is not limited to the structure provided in the first connecting portion 5, and may also be a structure in which at least one of the blocking portion and the locking mechanism is provided with the second connecting portion. In addition, all of the plurality of connection portions may have the same configuration as the first connection portion 5. The first connection portion 5 and the second connection portion 6 are not limited to those that are crimped to the flat-type flexible cable 7 from above, but also can be flat-shaped and flexible from below 24 312 / Invention Manual (Supplement) / 93-06 / 93108834 200428705 The cable 7 is crimped and becomes the so-called lower contact type. In the above embodiment, FPC is used as an example of the flat flexible cable 7. However, the electrical connector 1,101 of the present invention can also be applied to the installation of other flat flexible cables such as FFC (Flexible Flat Cable).
