Abstract

The present invention provides a pair of shoes for infants, which would not hurt the infant's soft feet. The infant shoe (20) has a shoe sole (21) to be positioned underneath the infant's foot, a tongue (22) for covering an upper part of the infant's foot, a first side shell (23) for covering one side surface of the infant's foot and partially overlapping the tongue (22), and a second side shell (24) for covering another side surface of the infant's foot and partially overlapping the tongue (22). The tongue (22) has a front end connected to a front end (21a) of the shoe sole (21). Side edges (23a, 24a) of the first and second side shells (23, 24) are positioned to correspond with each other on the tongue (22) and extend to the front end (21a) of the shoe sole (21). The side edges of the first and second side shells respectively have the front part close to a front end (21a) of the shoe sole (21), which front part is sewn on the upper part of the tongue (22).
