Abstract

Bu buluş, bal arısı kovanlarının içerisine yerleştirilen, arıların beslenmesinde kullanılan şuruplukların varroa mücadelesinde de kullanılacak şekilde yeniden tasarımı ile ilgili faydalı bir ürün ile ilişkilidir. Şurupluklar; genellikle kovan içerisinde kullanılan, gerek arıcıların kendilerinin hazırladıkları gerekse ticari olarak satın aldıkları şurupları (şeker içerikli sıvı besin kaynağı) koydukları ürünlerdir. Varroosis hem ergin hem de larval aşamada bal arılarının gerek ülkemizde gerekse dünya çapında bal arısı yetiştiriciliğinin yapıldığı tüm coğrafyalarda gözlemlenen en önemli ekto paraziter hastalıklardan biridir. Yapılması planlanan bu buluş ile beslenme amacıyla şurupluklara gelen bal arıları polen tuzaklarına benzer delikli bir yapıdan geçerek hem beslenme ihtiyaçlarını karşılayacak hem de varroa etkenlerinden mekanik ve organik bir bileşenin etkisiyle kurtulacaktır.
