Prior art Cyclic Spectral Density conversion is a method used for the classification of rotary wing UAVs in radar signals and found in the literature. The method is based on detecting the periodic structure in the autocorrelation of the signal returning from the target. The classification of the platform, which has been determined before, is carried out by detecting this periodic structure. CFAR (Constant false alarm rate) methods have been studied for a long time and are also applied in practice. CFAR methods refer to a common form of adaptive algorithms used in radar systems to detect target returns against a background of noise, clutter, and interference. CFAR methods are used to detect radar targets in environments where the noise level is not constant. CFAR methods determine a threshold level independently of the noise level in the environment and try to provide the desired false alarm rate. Doppler Target positioning can only be achieved using the frequency shift (Doppler shift) information resulting from the relative movements of the source-target-receiver trio. The area over which positioning can be achieved depends very much on the configuration in which the sensors are placed. In current drone detection approaches, target detection is first performed and then the target is classified. In environments where there are many targets, a large number of targets can be identified before classification and a large number of candidate targets are formed for classification. This approach requires intense processing power in environments with a large number of radar detections. Cities are examples of environments where there are many targets. Another problem that is likely to be experienced in an urban environment is related to coverage area. Due to the dense construction in the urban environment, factors limiting the radar coverage area also limit the applicability of classical radar solutions. Brief Description and Purposes of the Invention As a result of technological developments in recent years, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have begun to become a part of our daily lives. These vehicles are used for military purposes as well as civilian purposes. Due to their low prices, low probability of detection and ability to carry cargo, UAVs can also be classified as vehicles that can be used for terrorist activities. Detection of UAVs that can be used in urban environments limits the use of radar due to the many obstructing factors within the coverage area. However, radars are needed as detection systems that can operate in various environmental conditions. System solutions relevant to the subject in the sector are generally radar solutions derived taking into account open areas. It is considered that low-cost solutions for the building-intensive urban environment are lacking in the market. The purpose of the invention is to suppress target signals other than drones in target-dense environments by classifying drones before detection for detection and positioning. The distributed sensor structure used by the derived method makes the method advantageous in areas with limited coverage. Rotary wing UAV detection with the discriminator algorithm via the CSD (Cyclic Frequency Plane) transformation presented in our invention and Doppler estimation via CSD are studies that are not available in the literature. In addition, the system solution approach presented for the urban environment is an approach that is not included in the literature. In addition to describing a system that can operate alone, the system solution in the invention can also serve as an auxiliary system to the systems currently in use. By combining the data generated by an existing drone detection system with the data of the system included in the invention, data with higher accuracy can be produced. In addition, the positioning algorithm of the system solution in the invention can be run together with the range data coming from a system that can only produce range information. In urban environments, there are many obstructive factors within the coverage area, which limits the use of radar. However, radars are needed as detection systems that can operate in various environmental conditions. One of the important information that radar systems extract about targets is the target's speed relative to the radar system. Thanks to this information, the radar system can distinguish the targets it is looking for from the chaos in the environment. It is difficult for UAVs to separate from the background for detection due to the large number of objects moving at different speeds in the city environment. Another problem that will arise with classical radar approaches in the city environment is that the radar coverage area will be blocked by buildings. The general structure in cities consists of straight streets and intersections of avenues. . Tall buildings that form the borders of the streets restrict the radar coverage areas placed at high points. Radars placed on the streets require a range of the length of the street to cover the entire street. This range requirement will cause the single radar system to be used in our invention to be large and costly. Drones (UAVs) are classified before detecting and positioning them. For this reason, a large number of possible moving targets, such as the city environment, are filtered before detection. Our invention aims to detect rotary-wing UAVs in the city environment with low-power, low-cost radar systems. In order to make the system as simple as possible, CW signal will be used. Due to the use of CW signals, a single radar system will not be able to extract range information. However, it will eliminate the need for synchronization in the multi-input multiple output (MIMO) radar system structure. Receivers and transmitters will use a single antenna with a wide beam. For this reason, a single radar system will not produce direction information as well as range. For this reason, the Doppler-Only Localization method in the literature will be used to produce target location information. UAV detection and positioning will be carried out using a large number of low-power transmitters and receivers in the urban environment. The basic algorithm flow to be used is as shown in Figure 1. The radar signal model returned from IHA7 is as specified in equation (l). s(t): Z ArlLg - LJCJU'JJ" K "M" 1-' m"(0i"' "l2"j'" -V "sindî ifws(9)sm(2nf,1+ T) In this equation; - N: Number of blades in the propeller - v: Radial speed of the target relative to the radar - A: Wavelength of the RF signal - 6: The angle between the rotation axis of the propeller and the radar-target line is ° fc: Frequency of the radar signal v fr: Rotation frequency of the propeller. 3:(1) é fl: R:(T)c-J2:Ird7 = 2: Z cA. -,,.c,\-,,5[2n(f - L, - VE; Efr]sinc[1r(f,.(m - n) - a)T] (2) According to equation no. 2, IHA The cyclic spectral density transformation of the radar signals returning from is periodic in both spectral frequency and cyclic frequency. Therefore, in the cyclic spectral density transformation, peaks occur at periodic spectral (f) and cyclic (oc) frequencies, the positions of the relevant peaks are determined for the integers m and n. 3) is as given in ". When (3) is taken into account, the cyclic spectral density transformation of the radar signal returning from a propeller contains information about the propeller - the rotation frequency of the propeller - the Doppler frequency originating from the radial speed of the propeller relative to the radar. In order to determine whether there is a periodic structure on the projected cyclic frequency plane, the numbers of projections in the 2-dimensional CSD plane are collected for each cyclic frequency value. This process is called Projection. As a result of this process, the detection numbers at the cyclic frequency are extracted. In the case of a rotary wing UAV, peaks in a periodic structure occur at the cyclic frequency. An example projection result is shown in Figure 3. Discriminator Parsing algorithms are algorithms used in Electronic Support systems in the literature and detect periodic structures in complex time series. In our invention, we expect a periodic signal in the cyclic spectral field in case of propeller rotation. For this reason, the discriminator algorithm was used in our invention to detect the presence of a periodic sign and to determine the period if such a sign exists. For example, although the histogram-based parser algorithm is used, other parser methods in the literature are also suitable for the problem. Doppler Frequency Calculation The peaks occurring in CSD shift along the spectral axis as much as the Doppler frequency. Since each peak undergoes Doppler shift, it is possible to find the Doppler shift by averaging the amount of shift across the peaks. It is possible to find the relevant Doppler shift with the equation presented in (4). P indicates the number of peaks. Position Finding Position finding with Doppler measurements obtained from different points is a method used especially in acoustic systems and various examples of which can be found in the literature. Equations related to the method (5) - It is given in (8). In these equations, (xi, yi) indicates the position of the i-numbered sensor, (X, y) indicates the position of the target, c indicates the light speed, and fi indicates the target echo frequency measured on the i-numbered sensor. The target position is the (X, y) value pair that the function presented in equation (8) has the lowest. f! = fi'(1+ IKI + yili) + (i Czrlfj-ê-Ü 011':[ri. A moving propeller was used. The cyclic spectral density transformation result of the resulting radar signal is shown in Figure 4. As a result of the CFAR performed on the transformation in Figure 4, there are both signal components returning from the propeller and noise components (Figure 5). A discriminator algorithm was used to find out whether such a structure exists and, if so, the frequency of this structure. According to the discriminator output shown in Figure 6, a signal with a cyclic frequency of 113 Hz was detected. When the previously mentioned Doppler frequency estimation method was used, a value of -15 Hz was obtained. . With this experimental setup, it has been shown that the presence of a propeller can be detected and the Doppler frequency caused by propeller movement can be estimated using the specified method. By making similar measurements from at least 5 points, the position of the rotary wing UAV can be found by using the positioning algorithm from Doppler frequencies discussed in the previous section. This position data found by our invention can be used on its own or combined with other sensor data. An example is shown in Figure 7°. Data fusion methods are widely discussed in the literature.
