Abstract

GSM şebekelerinde, uygulamaların ihtiyaç duyduğu konum bilgilerinin ilgili sunucudan alınıp getirilmesi için OMA (Öpen Mobile Alliance - www.openmobilealliance.com) tarafından MLP Protokolü (Mobile Location Protocol - Mobil Lokasyon Protokolü) geliştirilmiştir. Konum bilgilerini talep eden istemci, sunucudan MLP Protokolü ile konum bilgilerini isterken, kendisini sunucuya tanımlayan İstemci-Kodu (Client-ID) ve Parola (Password) parametreleri ile beraber konum bilgisi alınacak olan mobil numarayı da belirtmektedir. Buluş, gönderilen İstemci-Kodu ve Parola parametrelerinin istemci ile sunucu arasında güvenli bir şekilde taşınması için şifreli olarak gönderilmesini sağlamaktadır. MLP Protokolünde kullanılan Bağlam Elemanı Tanımlan (Context Element Definitions) üzerinde, "id" (İstemci-Kodu) ve "pwd" (Parola) parametrelerinin altına "ene" özelliği (attribute) eklenmiştir. İlgili parametreler şifrelenerek yollanmak istendiğinde "CRP" seçeneği, şifresiz olarak gönderilmek istendiğinde "ASC" seçeneği kullanılmaktadır.MLP Protocol (Mobile Location Protocol) has been developed by OMA (Öpen Mobile Alliance - www.openmobilealliance.com) in order to retrieve the location information required by applications from the relevant server in GSM networks. The client requesting the position information, while requesting the position information by MLP Protocol from the server, specifies the Client-ID and Password parameters and the mobile number from which the position information will be received. The invention provides that the transmitted Client-Code and Password parameters are encrypted in order to be securely transported between the client and the server. On the Context Element Definitions used in the MLP Protocol, "ene" attribute is added under the "id" (Client-Code) and "pwd" (Password) parameters. "CRP" option is used for sending the related parameters with encryption and "ASC" option is used for sending without encryption.
