Abstract

The present invention relates to a cement composition developed for producing durable concrete with increased compressive strength and bending strength. A hydraulic cement composition is described which comprises approximately 1 to 15% by weight of powdered carbon dioxide, 10 to 50% of silicoferrochrome slag and 50 to 80% of Portland cement. The invention allows low-cost and high-strength concrete to be obtained through the recovery of waste materials, particularly for use in earthquake zones.
