Devirli alan devresine sahip tipteki, makinenin dagitim ya da iletim sebekesine dogrudan baglanti için tasarlanan bir devirli elektrik makinesidir. Makinenin en az bir elektrik sarimi iletkeni çevreleyen yari iletken özellikler ile bir ilk katman, ilk katmani çevreleyen kati bir izole edici katman ve izole edici katmani çevreleyen yari iletken özellikleri ile bir ikinci katmani içermektedir. Bir tespit devresi (16) devirli alan devresindeki toprak kusurlarini tespit etmek için ayrica düzenlenmistir.
