Pamuk numuneleri gibi malzeme numunelerinin deneyden önce çevre iklimlendirilmesi için numuneye özgü; ve deney laboratuar hacmi, deney laboratuar hacmi içerisinde bir alt-hacim veya "vaha alani" ve /veya bir deney makinesi içinde bir deney alaninin döngülerinin saglanmasina yönelik usul ve aparatlar. Bir sensör, bir pamuk numunesinin nem içerigi benzeri, numunenin en az bir malzeme özelligini ölçer. Malzeme özelligine dayanarak, bir numuneye özgü iklimlendirme döngüsü, numunenin özelliklerini etkiliyen en az bir parametreye göre, örnegin sicaklik, bagil nem, ve zaman biriminde geçen hacim, bir pamuk numunesi örneginde bütün bunlar ilgilidir, iklimlendirilmis bir gaz akisini numune içerisinden sürükleyerek belirlenir ve uygulanir.
