Abstract
The invention relates to a device for disinfecting water using UV radiation including a number of UV lamps (31) each being protected by at least one sheath (32) made of a material transparent to UV and having an essentially cylindrical shape, said device comprising means for cleaning these sheaths including at least one scraping ring (7) encircling each sheath (32) and being capable of being displaced while sliding along this sheath (32) with the aid of motor means (5). The scraping rings (7) are mounted on at least one drive assembly comprising supporting means (41) carried by at least one drive arm (42) connected to these motor means (5). The supporting means (41) of each scraping ring (7) has at least one closed ring inside of which the scraping ring (7) is mounted, and the supporting means (41), together with the drive arm(s) (42), form a one-piece drive assembly (42).
