Abstract

The proposed product aims to save up to 50% of irrigation water by using a microporous calcium-magnesium-enriched clay-based solid as a water storage tank. This method allows: 1-using ordinary clays, to which we add fuse additions (sawdust or pulverized coal), calcium hydroxide and magnesium. It is then put in small 5mm balls and baked in an oven at a temperature between 700 and 800 ° C. 2-by mixing 20 to 25 cm of soil depth before planting, we obtain a well ventilated and equipped earth water tanks. 3-In this technique of saving agricultural irrigation water, we use totally natural products that have no adverse effect on plants and humans. 4-This product is very convenient for large agricultural plantations (eg cereals) where palm plantation in the desert. 5-In the desert, the product is very effective. It saves more than 50% of irrigation water. 6-The proposed product is very easy to use for farmers, it requires no maintenance and has no negative effect on the environment, plants and humans.
