A process and system for separating butene and butane by distillation of a solvent-based product is disclosed. The process may include: contacting a hydrocarbon mixture, including butane and butene, with a solvent-based mixture in a distillation column to form a solvent-rich fraction, butene; recovering a charge portion comprising butane and a bottom fraction from the distillation column; feeding the bottom fraction to a stripper, including a stripping fraction and a washing fraction; recovering the lean solvent mixture as a bottom fraction and a charge portion comprising butene and water from the stripper; distilling the charge portion to form a water fraction and a product portion, butene; feeding the water as a reflux to the top of the stripper wash section; feeding at least a portion of the concentrate to the top and bottom of the stripper wash section as a second reflux.
