ยาปฏิชีวนะไกลโคเพบไทด์ชนิดใหม่ A82846 ซึ่งประกอบด้วยA82846A, A82846B และ A82846C สามารถผลิตได้จาก Nocardia orientalis สายพันธุ์ NRRL 18098, NRRL 18099 และNRRL 18100 ยาปฏิชีวนะ A82846 มีฤทธิ์ต่อต้านแบคทีเรียชนิดกรัมบวกเท่าเทียมกับแวนโคมัยซิน
Claims (5)
1.กรรมวิธีในการผลิตยาปฏิชีวนะ A 82846, A 82846A,A28246B หรือ A82846C ซึ่งประกอบด้วย การเพาะเลี้ยง Nocardia orientalis NRRL 18098, NRRL 18099 หรือ NRRL 18100 หรือลูกหลานของเชื้อที่ผลิต A 82846 ในอาหารเลี้ยงเชื้อที่มีแหล่งคาร์บอนแหล่งไนโตรเจนและเกลืออนินทรีย์ที่เชื้อนำไปใช้ได้ ภายใต้สภาวะการหมักที่มีอากาศ แล้วอาจตามด้วยการแยกยาปฏิชีวนะออกจากน้ำหนัก และ/หรือ ทำยาปฏิชีวนะให้อยู่ในรูปเกลือ ถ้ายาปฏิชีวนะนั้นไม่ได้อยู่ในรูปเกลือ
