The improved movement for the three-hand analog quartz clock consists of a stationary section, a stepping motor to which the rotor is set to rotate half a turn, and an output section with numerous concentric gears mounted to rotate within the stationary section. The improvement includes: a dual reduction gear set with a single shaft mounted to rotate within the stationary section. This reduction gear set has a third spoked wheel geared with and driven by the reduction gear; the first reduction gear geared with and driven by the hour wheel; and the second reduction gear geared with and driven by the minute wheel, thus causing the reduction gears to drive the minute wheel. And the hour wheel, directly through the aforementioned dual reduction gear set.
